Well, with the 0.5% announcement from ANZ, it seems things are turning around. I hope for everyone this is not just a bait for first home buyers to enter the market and pick up cheap properties. I still think IR will rise...yes, people are spending less money and hence less credit is going out the doors at the banks, but nothing else has changed in the markets. The US is still low, Aussie stocks are still heading downwards, cheap houses are not moving...nothing has changed.
I do really hope respite comes earlier then the 2010 prediction I made in February...I really do.
